Terms of Service
Last updated: not yet published
Structure only — no terms have been written
Every heading below is a required item from doc #8 §17.2, in its order. Several of these are
load-bearing commitments rather than boilerplate, and are called out as such.

1. Who provides Shtop It
Trading name, and contact. Same entity details as the Privacy Policy — blocked on long-lead #3b.
2. Minimum age
16+. Doc #8 chose 16 because it is the only single number needing no verifiable-parental-consent machinery anywhere we distribute.
3. What the service is
A self-control and mindful-spending tool. Explicitly not financial advice, and explicitly not a medical or therapeutic service (§21).
The banned vocabulary applies here too: never addiction, disorder, compulsive, therapy, treat, cure.
4. What the numbers mean
The honesty model, stated as a limit. Money Rescued is self-reported and estimated;
the app does not verify purchases; the number is a record of what the user told it.
This clause is what makes the in-app “estimated” label a commitment rather than a caption.
5. Subscriptions
Prices, auto-renewal, that billing is by Apple or Google and not by us, how to cancel,
and that deleting the account does not cancel the subscription (§15.4).
6. Refunds
Refunds are the stores' (§6.3).
7. The PRO Preview
14 days, once per account, not a store trial, and that declining leaves the whole loop available for free (doc #3 §3).
8. No-Excuses mode
That the user is choosing a mode which cannot be switched off for 48 hours, and that switching it off can be requested at any time.
Doc #5 §10.3 requires the Gate to always show this; these terms are where the user agreed to it.
9. What the App Shield does and does not do
Its honest limits. A soft lock on this device, dependent on OS permissions the user can revoke,
and not a guarantee that an app cannot be opened. Never the words “blocks” or “guaranteed”.
Promising more here than the architecture delivers is the failure mode.
10. Acceptable use, termination, liability, governing law
Plus a change-notification clause matching the Privacy Policy's.
11. Privacy
A link to the Privacy Policy. Required as its own item.
